The count covers Alibaba's freely downloadable model weights, the measure Chinese labs use to argue that they, and not US companies, set the default for open AI. Global Times reported on Saturday that the official version of DeepSeek's V4 Pro and its Harness tooling have gone live on China's National Supercomputing Internet. The state-affiliated outlet's item is a brief notice and names no users, pricing or capacity.
