Chinese-owned AESC has shelved the expansion of the UK's largest electric-vehicle battery gigafactory after talks with Jaguar Land Rover stalled, the Guardian reported on Saturday. The paper calls the decision a sign of a slowing shift from petrol and diesel to electric cars.
