Paris prosecutors open investigation into tax portal hack

The Paris public prosecutor's office has opened an investigation into the hack of the French tax portal impots.gouv.fr, in which the attackers extracted data on taxpayers and companies, Le Monde reported on Saturday. The finance ministry called the operation more sophisticated than previous attacks and said affected users would be contacted from Monday.
