Iran's supreme leader tied a peace agreement with Washington to what Al Jazeera reported as the absolute and unconditional termination of Israel's attacks on Lebanon. Tehran Times reported that Mojtaba Khamenei called full preservation of Lebanon's territorial integrity a strategic policy, and the Jerusalem Post reported statements attributed to him praising Hezbollah and calling for continued resistance against the United States and Israel.
