UAE closes more beaches over Gulf oil slick

An oil slick from a tanker reportedly hit by a mine in the Strait of Hormuz has washed ashore in the UAE, and authorities have closed beaches in Umm Al Quwain. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Sunday that the war against the United States and Israel has changed security conditions and that Hormuz shipping will not return to its pre-war standard.
