FAA warns seats on hundreds of 737 Max jets may need inspection

The Federal Aviation Administration said seats and cabin fittings on hundreds of Boeing 737 Max jets may require inspections because of assembly flaws and safety risks. The Jerusalem Post noted that Boeing's production quality problems surfaced in early 2024, when a door plug panel blew out of a nearly new Alaska Air 737 Max in flight.
