Coldcard wallet flaw used to steal more than 1,300 bitcoin

Hackers exploited a security vulnerability in Coldcard hardware wallets and drained bitcoin worth around $110m to $116m from thousands of users, according to Bloomberg and Breitbart. Politika reported that more than 1,300 bitcoin were stolen and that the software flaw had reportedly existed since 2021; Bloomberg described the attack as ongoing.
