Gaza's civil defence says Israeli strikes killed at least eight people across the Strip on Sunday, days after Hamas accepted a US-brokered disarmament deal. Israel has not said publicly whether it accepts the terms.

What happened

  • Trump's Board of Peace published a 15-point roadmap for last year's ceasefire; Hamas confirmed on Friday, 31 July, it would disarm.
  • An Israeli strike a day later destroyed two of Al-Aqsa hospital's four medicine warehouses in central Gaza, Gaza's health ministry said.
  • Israel's army said the site stored Hamas weapons and that it had warned residents; the hospital's spokesman rejected that claim.
  • Sunday's dead include a man and woman hit by an Israeli helicopter strike south of Deir al-Balah.
  • Gaza's health ministry counted 152 people killed in July, its highest monthly toll this year.
