Israel ends 10-day Hebron siege as UN logs record settler attacks

The Israeli army announced on Monday that it ended its siege of Hebron in the occupied West Bank and that all soldiers withdrew from the city; according to Le Monde, about 3,000 Palestinians were displaced during the operation. The UN's OCHA documented 397 Israeli settler attacks in the West Bank in the first 26 days of October, the highest monthly figure since official measurements began, Telesur reports.
