Pope Leo XIV undergoes lung nodule surgery in Rome

Pope Leo XIV was admitted to the Agostino Gemelli hospital in Rome on Tuesday and underwent surgery to remove a lung nodule. TASS reports the operation was successful and he has returned to his room, while the New York Times says the Vatican expects him to spend about a week recovering in hospital.
