A forest fire on Sumatra island fuelled by El Niño has razed nearly 300 homes in Bangka Belitung province and displaced hundreds of people, according to The Guardian. Haze from Indonesian fires led Malaysia's Firefly to cancel flights to Singapore, and Prabowo ordered more resources to fight the fires, Reuters reports.
