Maduro and wife indicted over alleged torture of US citizens

US prosecutors have indicted Venezuela's deposed president Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, over the alleged torture of US citizens, adding to the existing drug trafficking case. Both have been in jail in New York since early January; Flores's lawyers say they will seek her transfer to house arrest, and TASS reports she suffered a heart attack in July.
