US Secretary of State Marco Rubio called the war in Ukraine a "strategic stalemate" and said prospects for a negotiated settlement are elusive, according to TASS and Reuters. Ukraine's negotiating team is due to visit the US on Friday and Saturday, while Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov said Moscow currently has no plans to resume trilateral talks.
