Environ 45 journaux et médias de tous les camps : occidentaux et non occidentaux, proches de l'État et critiques envers les gouvernements, de gauche et de droite. La sélection est délibérément conçue pour que les sources puissent se contredire.

Un processus éditorial assisté par IA lit les sources, regroupe les reportages en événements et les résume. Chaque résumé cite ses sources : chaque affirmation reste vérifiable à partir des reportages sous-jacents.

Aucune source n'est considérée comme neutre

Bota ne considère aucune source comme neutre, y compris les sources occidentales. Chaque source a sa propre perspective et ses propres intérêts. Elle est lue comme la voix d'un camp, non comme un arbitre.

Ce qui compte comme un fait

Un fait est ce sur quoi s'accordent des camps opposés. Lorsque des sources qui se contredisent habituellement rapportent la même chose, c'est la confirmation la plus fiable que l'actualité puisse offrir.
