Oil slick nears Oman after blasts on Russia-linked tanker

The tanker Caroline Bezengi ran aground off Oman and leaked oil, leaving a slick of about 390 square kilometres, Meduza reported on Tuesday, and Oman is taking measures to keep it away from its coast. Le Monde says the ship is under British sanctions, is suspected of belonging to Russia's shadow fleet and was damaged in June by three explosions of unknown origin.
