The Russian state agency TASS, citing a newspaper report, says the standstill at Ukraine's Black Sea ports costs about $70 million a day, and that the three ports of greater Odesa accounted for $2.1 billion of Ukraine's $3.5 billion in exports in June. The Russian analyst Ilya Grashchenkov told TASS the situation is not a blockade as such but a de facto halt to shipping, and that Kyiv cannot replace the lost export routes.
