The Prime Minister's Office did not dispute Trump's claim that US aid to Israel is being halted and described it as a "mutual investment". Spokesman Spielman said Netanyahu has been working with Trump on the transition from aid towards partnership, while the South China Morning Post reports that direct military aid is to be phased out over the coming two years.
