The cabinet on Wednesday approved a draft law lifting many restraints on the BND and the domestic intelligence service, allowing them to actively disrupt attackers rather than only observe them. The Green politician Konstantin von Notz said the reform overshoots its target and warned of chaos and legitimacy problems.
