China's AI capital push
Symbolic imageWhere things stand
Moore Threads said on Sunday its board had approved a Hong Kong H-share issue, after first-half revenue rose 147 per cent to 1.7 billion yuan and its net loss narrowed sharply. The listing plan underlines Chinese capital flowing into AI and robotics.
China is channelling investment into artificial intelligence and robotics, and domestic developers of AI chips are among the companies raising money on public markets. Moore Threads, listed in Shanghai, designs graphics and AI processors and is pursuing a second listing venue in Hong Kong, according to the South China Morning Post.
