The United States signed contracts worth more than $3bn with Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman to expand production of Patriot and THAAD interceptor parts, as the conflicts in Iran and Ukraine strain supplies, the South China Morning Post and the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday. FAZ reported that the war in Iran has significantly reduced American missile stocks and that start-ups from Silicon Valley are meant to help.
