Russia's Supreme Court barred Yabloko, the only party campaigning for peace with Ukraine, from the State Duma election on Monday, citing copyright and campaign financing, and never ruled on whether calls for peace amount to extremism, Meduza reports. Sources close to the Kremlin told Meduza that the party's registration in late July was an experiment that was dropped once the polling came back.
