Romania expels Russian diplomat after shooting down three drones

Romania's foreign ministry summoned Russia's ambassador and expelled an embassy staff member after Romanian forces shot down three drones that entered the country's territory without authorisation between 24 and 25 July, according to Meduza and TASS. Ambassador Vladimir Lipaev rejected the accusations as groundless and called the protest a propaganda show, while spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Moscow would respond to the expulsion.
